Frequently Asked Questions About Juicing and Juices

Is juicing healthy?

Juicing is really good for your overall health.

Since vegetables and fruit are rich in the minerals and vitamins our bodies need to survive and thrive, it only makes sense that drinking them should do a lot for our health and wellbeing.

Plus, by juicing the produce you can take on board what your body needs without having to work your way through plates of them in their raw state – not an appealing thought for most!

Some of the most important benefits juicing offers are a boost of your immune system, detox, skin repair, aid in digestion and aid in weight loss.

What are good things to juice?

Most of the people passionate about juicing use vegetables, fruit, and fresh herbs.

Good recommendations include kale, spinach, carrots, berries, parsley, beets, broccoli, cucumbers and cabbage.

Can you lose weight by juicing?

Yes, you definitely can.

When you consume healthy liquids, like fresh juice, you will feel full, and therefore won’t feel so hungry as often as you normally would.

Also, many of the ingredients help in breaking down food and speeding up the digestion process.

Juicing fresh fruit and vegetables definitely offers many benefits to your body- from detox, skin repairs and energy boosting, all the way to weight loss.

But, don’t let yourself get tricked.

Juices aren’t magic potions, and will not shape your summer body by themselves.

You will still need to exercise, follow a diet and monitor your eating. But, even so, fresh, homemade juice represents the best supplement to your diet, and it still has many benefits to offer.

Thank you for the recipes. I can’t wait to try some. I see in some of the instructions you state to remove skin peel and even cook sweet potatoes. Is this due to the type of juicing machine you use? Also I’m interested to know how much water to consume daily or if it’s even necessary? One more thing if your not juicing for weightless how much juice would be helpful to consume for daily vitamins.

    • Energetic Lifestyle Team says:

Hey Cindy, sorry for the delay! Did you end up trying them? Yes, whether or not you need to cook and peel sweet potatoes depends on which kind of juicer you’re using but you might not have to.
